How is the IELTS Band Score calculated from raw scores?
Each question in Listening and Reading carries 1 mark (total 40 marks each). A raw score of 30-31 converts to Band 7.0, 32-34 to Band 7.5, 35-36 to Band 8.0, and 39-40 to Band 9.0. The overall band score is calculated by averaging section bands rounded to the nearest half band.
Is there any negative marking in the IELTS exam?
